今年度も本格的に始動
今年度後半のイヴェントのひとつであるペンシルベニア方面作戦は暫定的ながらプログラムが決まりつつあるとの腹先生＠駒場からの情報。日本から遠征する方々は小生以外は驚くほど錚々たる面子（日本での精神分析研究を代表する人たち）。どう考えてもヤバすぎます。やけくそで小生がいま考えているのは「小林敏明と福田和也に引き裂かれながら三島を読む」という不可能なプロジェクトであるが、三島ってこれくらいのノリでないと今の小生には読めない（といいつつ三島の戯曲は小生恥ずかしながら未読です・・・）。日本でもこういう知的関心が北米の人間によってオーガナイズされているという事実がなるべく周知されたほうがいいと思うので、小生の発信力としては脆弱なブログで前宣伝しときます。あくまで暫定的なプログラムの冒頭を部分的に引用すると：

Psychoanalysis and Philosophy in East Asian Perspectives:
History, Community, AestheticsCONFERENCE PURPOSE AND TOPIC
This conference is designed to follow an international conference on “Psychoanalysis in East Asia” organized at National Taiwan University in 2008 by Charles Shepherdson and Chaoyang Liao. Many speakers from the Taiwan conference are leading figures in the field, and have been invited to participate again in this conference at the University of Pennsylvania (including Liao Chaoyang, Liu, Liao Hsien-hao, Szeto, Shingu, Hara, and Endo). The purpose of this meeting is to provide a foundation for the establishment of a new International Society for Psychoanalytic Studies in East Asia. Our aims are (1) to provide an institutional basis for developing research in psychoanalysis and contemporary cultural theory and (2) to support international scholarly exchange, both across East Asia, and in collaboration with Western colleagues, in this research area.

まあ、ソウル→台北→ペンシルベニアという流れがあって、学会を作ろうということです。吉祥寺のアジア太平洋研究センターがこれにpositive and generous contributionがなければウソだと思う。ほんとうに。しかしそれにしてもJean-Michel Rabatéというのはヤバすぎますよ。
追記：米文学の大御所であるO橋先生のお宅が小生の家とご近所であるのは承知していたが、なんとも至近距離、目視可能な近さ。むかしご近所ということでO島先生に「頭が高い」と怒られたが、これではお手討ちものだ。
